Ceramic Beads for PWHT pad heaters
ResisTek offers the widest range of ceramic beads for heat treatment. Our95% Alumina Ceramic Beads is manufactured by dry press method and sintered at temperature upto 1650°C. All the material is prepared by ResisTek itself. The production is under careful material selection of high grade alumina spray drying granulation from what we call calcined alumina, thus the quality stability is maximally ensured. It enjoys high temperature resistance, excellent insulating property, and efficient thermal conductivity and heat transfer. Thanks to its property, the ceramic beads is widely used as components of flexible ceramic heating pad and channel heaters at operation of pre and postweld heat treatment; welding process, stress-relieving, ship-building, other heat-resistance-environment. Compared with hot press method, it proves higher density, higer surface finish and better uniformity, and be repeatedly used much longer .
Advantages: Higher density, higer surface finish and unifomity than heat press cast method, excellent thermal condictivity and heat transfer, resistance against thermal shock and mechanical abuse.
Application: As ceramic parts of flexible pad and channel heaters at operations of pre and postweld heat treatment; Welding process, stress-relieving, pre-heating & post heating, ship-building, other resistance-heating environmen.
